At Wildflower Psychiatry, we believe in women’s resilience.

Our mission is to provide compassionate, evidence-based care that empowers women to navigate life’s challenges with clarity and confidence. Through personalized treatment and a supportive approach, we help each woman uncover her strength, restore balance, and thrive in every season of life.

We Hold Space For

your story, your healing, your growth

A safe space for the woman carrying more than she should.

Our philosophy is simple: when women feel supported and understood, true healing begins. That’s why every session, every treatment plan, and every conversation is designed to nurture your inner strength, restore balance, and build lasting confidence. You are allowed to rest. You are allowed to ask for help. You are allowed to feel whole again.

Our Goals at Wildflower Psychiatry

A space dedicated to women’s mental health and well-being.

Patients can expect to leave with a sense of hope and empowerment, ready to take charge of their mental health. Our goal is to help you feel confident in your ability to manage your well-being, equipped with evidence-based treatments tailored to your unique needs.I created Wildflower Psychiatry to be a space I once needed, one rooted in deep reflection, mindful support, and soul-aligned growth. With a blend of mindset work, gentle suggestions, and honest curiosity, I help women slow down and tune in.

My mission is simple: to help you find your own rhythm again and trust yourself enough to follow it.

Meet the Founder

Hi, I’m Dr. Hayes

Kayla Hayes DNP, PMHNP-BC

Hi, I am Dr. Hayes, a Vanderbilt University-trained doctor of nursing practice who specializes in helping women (18+) navigate anxiety, life transitions, hormone changes, mood issues, and sleep challenges. With a passion for supporting professionals, healthcare workers, first responders, and mothers, I provide tailored care to empower women to thrive in all aspects of life.

My approach to care focuses on getting to the root cause of your symptoms, not just masking them with medication.

I take the time to understand what you're facing and your personal goals. With a gentle, warm, and honest approach, I aim to empower you to take charge of your mental health and live the life you truly want.

Tyler Stehno - Office Manager

As the Office Manager at Wildflower Psychiatry, I’m here to make sure everything behind the scenes runs smoothly so you can focus fully on your care. Before joining Wildflower Psychiatry, I spent several years as both a music educator and an IT analyst in the logistics field. I still enjoy music and believe it is important for mental health (so feel free to chat with me about your favorite artists). These experiences have taught me the power of clear communication, problem-solving, and above all compassion.

Though my path has been diverse, it’s always been centered on helping others feel seen, supported, and valued. I am from Nashville, TN where I live with my wife, Dr. Hayes (founder and provider here at Wildflower Psychiatry), and our two quirky pups, Elvis and Murphy.

I’m passionate about improving the mental health of others and creating a welcoming environment for every woman who walks through our virtual or physical doors, because I believe healing begins when you feel safe and understood.
